Wes came home from college yesterday. Kate is home today. Regina & I waited at the train station to pick her up this morning. It is great to have them home again. It is fun to have all four kids in the house again.
Waiting at the station reminded me of what life is like in God's plan. We wait for the fulfillment of some expectation from God that will add a piece to life's puzzle.
Waiting for the train reminded me of what heaven must be like. A friend took Kate to another station for a departure. We were there to greet her at her destination. When a child of God leaves this earth, we say goodbye and others are there to greet the loved one on arrival. I'll think of that when I hear the train whistle blow.
Regina is taking all four kids shopping with her today. I hope she will have more fun on this shopping trip than when she took them shopping ten years ago!
